MISSION:
Support House uses a person-direct approach to provide housing, programs and support services to people living with mental health and/or substance use concerns.
The charitable organization serves the following population:
We provide a menu of supports that responds to the needs of youth aged 16-24 and adults who experience mental and/or substance use issues in Halton.
We offer support coordination, housing, peer support, harm reduction, navigation, and distress/crisis support.
The donated funds would be used for:
Funding will support 200-400 care kits distributed while SH is partnering with police making individual connections with people needing care.
The Organization’s current sources of funding are:
Ontario Health, Ministry of Health, United Way Halton & Hamilton, Municipality of Halton, Contributions from residents, Other grant funding, Donations.
