How does this charity serve Burlington/Halton directly:

The Adam Malki Foundation serves Burlington and the Halton Region by investing directly in local youth through scholarships that recognize kindness, leadership, resilience, and community service. In partnership with the Halton Learning Foundation, the Foundation helps remove financial barriers to post-secondary education while inspiring young people to become compassionate leaders who strengthen their schools, neighbourhoods, and communities. Through fundraising events, community partnerships, and acts of service, the Foundation fosters a culture of generosity and belonging, ensuring that Adam Malki’s legacy continues to create meaningful local impact for future generations.

Funds received by the Adam Malki Foundation are used to advance the Foundation’s charitable mission by supporting scholarship awards for financially deserving students in Burlington and Halton, developing youth leadership and community engagement initiatives, fostering partnerships with local organizations, and sustaining programs that promote kindness, resilience, inclusion, and educational achievement. Every contribution directly strengthens opportunities for local youth while ensuring the long-term impact of the Foundation’s mission and Adam Malki’s legacy.

The Organization’s current sources of funding:

The Adam Malki Foundation is currently funded through a combination of individual donations, corporate sponsorships, community fundraising initiatives, and in-kind contributions from local businesses and supporters. These funds support the Adam Malki Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students in the Halton Region who exemplify kindness, leadership, resilience, sportsmanship, and community service. In 2025, the Foundation awarded nine scholarships totalling $21,000 to deserving Halton students. In 2026, an additional three scholarships totalling $7,500 have already been awarded, and the Foundation is currently in the process of selecting another seven to nine Burlington students who will receive scholarships this year. These awards are made possible only through the generosity of donors, sponsors, and funding partners. Continued financial support is essential to expanding our reach, removing barriers to post-secondary education, and ensuring that more local students have the opportunity to pursue their educational goals while carrying forward Adam Malki’s legacy of kindness, leadership, and community service.
